Charlotte's Vintage Inspired Autumnal Wedding Flowers, Rhinefield House, New Forest


I am a bit late in posting this one but it's so pretty it seemed a shame not to show it. So here they are, Charlotte's vintage inspired autumnal wedding flowers at Rhinefield House.


Charlotte's bouquet, a pretty mix of vintage and antique toned pink roses, autumnal snowberry, eucalyptus berry and wax flower with eupatorium and a little fern.


Buttonholes were a simple antique pink rose with eucalyptus and a touch of eupatorium.


Bridesmaids bouquets used Antique and blush pink roses with autumnal snowberry, eucalyptus berry and wax flower with eupatorium and a little fern. Beautiful for an autumn wedding in the forest.


Stunning candelabra centrepieces at Rhinefield House in autumnal, vintage pinks. We have used a mix of blush pink roses, antique pink spray roses,snowberry, eucalyptus berry, wax flower and eupatorium with a natural mix of foliages and ivy trails. Absolutely beautiful for an autumn wedding at Rhinefield with it's forest setting.
















The candelabra flowers were first used on stands behind the ceremony table for the service making a lovely backdrop for the wedding ceremony. 







Rhinefield all set up for the wedding breakfast with floral candelabra centrepieces but a low co-ordinating wreath design around a storm lantern for the top table - so that the sightlines were clear for the speeches.

Are you a sucker for packaging?

Image from here . I most certainly am, beautifully packaged goods like those above make me drool. Simple packaging too, really does it for me. Take Bonne Mamman  http://bonnemaman.us/  for example...it's those lovely checked lids for a start, then the wonderful black and white labels that look handwritten. It's not only that,  what about all the clever things that people do with the jars, once the contents, (and they are none too shabby either), have been consumed. Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort

It's Halloween Time! Actually it's still the middle of September, but at the Disneyland Resort, Halloween is in full swing, having officially kicked off the season on September 15th. It's always fun to have something new to do at Disneyland and both kids were really excited to be celebrating Halloween already. We didn't quite make rope drop today. The park opened at 8am, with Disneyland opening at 7am for Extra Magic Hours. It was 8:30am when we parked, and following our usual strategy, we started in the park that did not have Extra Magic Hours. DCA has transformed for Halloween! I love the entrance! I'm always happy to see more Nightmare Before Christmas in the parks. And there was a Photopass Photographer at the entrance taking pictures for guests too. WDW Monday, Magic Kingdom and Finally trying the Beaches and Cream Kitchen Sink - 11/20/17

It's our last day of vacation here in Florida. Let's wrap this one up. The day started in the Magic Kingdom. But the lines! Everyone was starting their day here apparently. First ride of the day was the monorail to get over to the park. And to start the day for the parents, we get... Coffee! Being so crowded we planned our day around the rides that swallow a lot of people without having to wait around too long. Rides like Mickey's Philharmagic. And other rides like the Carrousel. Trying to make our way over to the next ride and the pathways were gridlocked. It's difficult to fathom this many people being here at once. Earlier I had grabbed Fastpasses for Splash Mountain, which is one of Ian's favorite rides back home. The logs here are a little different though with everyone sitting side by side plus the addition of lapbars. Ian insisted on sitting in the front. Please don't throw me in that briar patch. Thankfully we made it out of the briar patch unscathed too
