Well, it has been an embarrassingly long time since I last posted. A house move is the reason, way too much sorting, packing, more sorting and unpacking for a busy wedding florist ! However all done now and normal service on the blogging front resumes.First up is this lovely late August wedding using orchids and gladioli to give a touch of simple glamour. Katherine's shower bouquet of pink and purple orchids, pink freesias. Hand tied bouquet of Memory Lane roses, purple singapore orchids and pink freesias for Katherine's bridesmaid. Simple buttonhole of pink phalaenopsis orchid. The bouquet in action, the colours look lovely with the bridesmaid's dress Tiny co-ordinating single rose posy for the flower girls. Purple gladioli make tall, simple but striking and quite contemporary centrepieces. They look great here on the tables at the Marwell Hotel. A bright and beautiful autumn wedding at Rhinefield House. Laura chose a lovely blend of pinks and purples with a touch of lime for her flowers. Style wise the flowers needed to look very natural but also elegant. That was the brief and now here are the flowers ; Shower bouquet of hot pink roses, purple lisianthus, pink freesias, a touch of blue eryngium and mixed autumnal foliages for the bride. Corsage of pink freesias, eryngium and eucalyptus for Laura's mum. For the groom's mum, corsage of pink freesia and sword fern. Sorry it's been a while since my last post. I haven't had my feet up  ! I have been kept exceptionally busy on the flower front and all else has got a little behind.  Just so you know I am still around and working, here are  a few shots from Pippa's lovely wedding at Trafalgar Park. I will write a bit about the designs soon and lots more lovely weddings  follow. Pippa's bouquet of pale and strong pink roses, lilac freesia and purple lisianthus, the 4 colours her bridesmaids were wearing. The pink astilbe, asparagus fern and the touch of foliage give the bouquet that soft vintage feel Pippa loved.  Bridesmaids' vintage style posies of pale pink rose, purple lisianthus, lilac freesia and strong pink spray rose. A smaller version of the bridal bouquet. Each bridesmaid was in a different colour but the same dress, they carried posies using all 4 colours to bring the look together.
