This is a picture of the bride and groom at a Wedding I did the flowers for recently. I just love the way she is looking at him.  Recently when a friend came for lunch, she described my decorating style as 'romantic'. I was quite taken aback, I had never thought about it like that, I just thought my style was 'country'.I began to look at my Pinterest pins to see if this was true, and guess what, I am a romantic, even in the style of clothing and flowers, there is a hint of romance running through everything. See for yourself..... All images were from  Pinterest . So whilst my beloved was in Zambia doing charitable work, and I was missing him and feeling all romantic, I decided to paint my kitchen and add a little romance of my own. My floor was already painted in this tile pattern, but was a little worn, so I refreshed it, and my larder cupboard was painted Lavender. The awful tiles that I would love to rip out will have to wait to the next time my husband is away for 2...

Robyn's wedding flowers in soft greens, pinks and ivories, the look is very soft and feathery and somewhere between vintage and rustic. The venue is Newtown House in Hayling Island. Soft, summery bouquet in pale greens, pinks and ivory using mixed roses, lisianthus, astilbe, asclepia and gypsophila for the bride. Co-ordinating bridesmaids' bouquets. A smaller version of the bridal bouquet Buttonhole of Dolomiti rose and rosemary. Tall tablecentres on cream painted vintage stands using mixed pink and ivory roses, soft green spray roses, pink astilbe and gypsophila, eupatorium and mixed foliages.  The venue is Newtown House, Hayling Island. Mini painted flower pots of co-ordinating flowers and tea lights were the perfect finishing touch for the tables. The table complete. A sprig of pink gypsophila makes a pretty place setting. While on the subject of summery thistle bouquets, I have to share this one for Emma. Here the soft pinks and delicate astilbe and gypsophila give a rose and thistle bouquet a gorgeous soft, delicate and summery twist. We loved it ! Emma's Bouquet of ivory roses, pink spray roses, thistles, pale pink astilbe, white freesias and a little gypsophila. Huge congratulations Emma, married at New Place, Shirrell Heath.

Goodness, I am getting behind with this blog. This lovely wedding is from the end of July and I have to show it because I love the summery twist of navy blue, apple green and white in Tracy's scheme.  Tracy's rather stunning bouquet of calla lilies, thistles, pale green lisianthus, white freesias and astilbe with a touch of myrtle. For the groomsmen, buttonholes of calla lily, thistle, myrtle and grasses.  Bouquet of ivory roses, thistles, freesias, lisianthus and a touch of fresh green foliage. The thistles can sometimes make bouquets look a bit on the wintery side but the pale green lisianthus and fresh green foliages add a touch of summery freshness to Tracy's bouquets.
